Welcome aboard webfooter.
I've notice several users now coming here looking for the Marmitec version which was 3.316
Since the NorthAmerican version is the same except modules and cities I'll look into creating a 3.318 European version using methods discovered creating an NorthAmerican version from the European (Marmitec) version.
With the new X10 looking for a developer to rewrite AHP we may see a new free North American build.

I have been on Internet/Fidonet forums since 99% of the country did not have access to the internet.

It is likely that at some point I will be declared inactive because I have learned over the years that there is no point in posting anything unless you can add to the knowledge base or would like a question answered.
I will post my background under the "Welcome" thread.

I don't remove users that have posted even if it has been years since their last post.
My main objective in removing non active members is to weed out sleeper spam accounts.
So far this has worked very well. ::) :`)

>>you will need a minimum of 5 posts under your belt before you can access the members only section<<

Well, here's a vacuous first post to keep me alive.  Frankly, however, I joined in hopes of seeing the "Members Only" section.  Now that my main problem (getting AHP running again) has been solved in the X10 forum, which took at least 5 posts, I doubt I'll have 4 more posts here anytime soon.

What's in this "Members Only" section that I might value anyhow? -- jclarkw

Actually you'll find 5 posts isn't that hard of a goal to reach as you found out on the X10 forum.
A suggestion for 1 more is what you learned with AHP lifejacket as not everyone views the X10 thread on that.

The Members only section currently includes:
Beta testing of my software and the ability to view the posts of those testing.
Access to some free software (mostly developed by me)
Having more input in the forum threw additional polls
Additional insider tips for HA (Mostly my software and X10)
Additional face sets and backgrounds for PCC and other software capable of using them.
Hopefully more to come.
Provided I can keep the site up there may be additional giveaways, like the current RF Repeater for donators, these designated for members only.

You'll find most of the x10 experts from the x10 forum visit here to so some info does get repeated here.
What you'll find here is more detailed info on how my software works with x10 and AHP.

Welcome aboard prlaba,
Issues with the cm11 and AHP are not uncommon.
If memory serves me right most users had issues with the import function and found that just recreating the setup modules manually  in AHP worked much better.
I'm not sure if X10 WTI fixed that prior to going under. ??? ::)

Nice to Be Here!

OK, membership approved! I'm a retired EE who has been using X10 since it first came out. My house is full of various X10 modules, mostly wall switches, lamp modules and appliance modules for many things like indoor lights, outdoor lights, security lights, aquarium lights and pumps, sprinklers, pool pump and this time of year - Christmas lights!

I am interested in this forum because with my update to Windows 10 - 64 bit, I have had some strange problems with my ActiveHome Pro and CM15A that I am hoping to resolve.

Cheers!  (Chr)

Hi, I have been using X10 for years and just got an Echo Dot. Thanks so much for Alex10. I really didn't want to go buy new home automation products.

I still have a few questions, which I will get to in my next post.

Hi, I'm in the process of trying to move some ActiveHome stuff from a store to my house now.  I'm basically a newbie so I'll be lurking for some time to come.

Thanks, Larry
