New Batchfile creator
« on: January 08, 2011, 04:39:42 pm »

I spent most of the morning playing with WSR macros and PCC.
I then realized the Batchfile creator never was updated to create Command fires.
Although the sample batchfiles for this were included in PCC I thought I'd add this function as Playing with WRS Macros showed me the power of the vbscript with Voice recognition.
Once I've finished the code for it I'll remove the hard coded batchfile creator from PCC the new file creator will become part of the PCC plug-in pack.
You'll still be able to open this from inside PCC but it will also run on its own if one prefers.
This also brought to light some bugs as I got some error messages  (cB) but they're fixed now! ;)

Has the fix been released?

I downloaded Pcc a couple of days ago and my batchfiles are corrupt.

I've yet to test with XP as my xp PC's were all down due to a AHP issue.nfact the same issue put my win & machine down.
SInce they are all back up and running as of today  I can get back to testing on XP.
I have noticed XP handles commandline text batch files differently and these fail so I need to add some extra code to PCC.

when you say the batch files are corupt,  are these TTS ones or ones that play wav files or both?

AH, yes it could fail!
It works on Win 7 if your setup is on the C drive.
I'll add the change to C Drive  or maybe a user select drive as some may have PCC or AHP or a different drive.
Thanks for catching that!

I've updated the batch File creator (BatCreator) for PCC to fix issues reported with XP.
Also updated it to take advantage of any new command line arguments a end user may make with PCC.
This will be included with the next Public release of PCC
If you can't wait you can down load the new version here
Note: It must be unzipped into the PCC root folder to work!

Previously I had decided to add a new Batchfile creator to the PCC Plugin pack.
Since I've decided to end the life of PCC 4 I'll make it available to members in the members only section.
This new version will allow users to create batch files which can be added to the HA-Bridge for Alexa control of PCC configured devices and User Commands. ;>
