User ratings and Comments for PCC
« on: January 21, 2013, 11:21:12 am »

I realy like the User comment and feed back Google offers for the Apps it hosts.
However few users seem to take the time to post unless the app is a piece of junk.
I'd like users to at least vote here.
Leaving feed back is optional however every bit of info will help improve PCC even if you feel it is junk.
I've allowed users to change there votes as PCC grows it hopefully will improve but if you feel it doesn't I'd like to know that to.
This will also help others wondering if they should install or not.

I use PCC as one of my main Home automation programs It allows for integration of android devices (through another APP T.A.C) and also handles many tasks in my home.
I find that the best part of PCC is the support and willingness of the developer to attempt to meet the needs of the users.  Alot of the additions to PCC have been ideas for me or other users and Tuicemen has always worked very hard to implement almost every idea we have proposed.  Also if users have a problem with PCC either in the program or in their setup  Tuicemen has always offered awesome support and usually responds very quickly.

Yea, what he said!  I agree with Kenrad.  Support is always there.  I haven't been using it much right now because of personal reasons, but once those are resolved I plan on fully implementing it.  I have been wishing for just one program to rule them all, oh wait a minute.  That's a movie.  I have been wishing for just one program to be a complete package so I don't have to run several programs to accomplish what ever home automation software should do.  In my eyes anyway.  I believe that PCC is on the verge of doing just that!  I love some of the other programs, it's just time consuming to learn every program out there and to have 3 or 4 of them running at the same time.  It can get confusing.  So hats off to Tuicemen and PCC!

I too agree with both Kenrad and Hawk.  Tuicemen has been very helpful and very responsive!!!!.   (GJ)  I, like Hawk, am looking for an all in one type HA software package and I believe PCC is definitely getting there.  I look forward to all of these enhancements in PCC.

Cheers,
Nate

I was just asked what was the top 10 reason users got PCC for?
And it was hard to limit it to 10 reasons  since PCC has so many options.
PCC does so much and it seems I get constant requests to add new things.
Sadly I can't add everything requested but I continue to try.
So I'm wondering what you the end user got PCC for?
But please don't list more then 10 reasons even though I'm sure some users have many more reasons.

Here are my top reasons.   ;>
1) weather triggers
2) facesets
3) talking weather report
4) emails
5) Talking Caller ID
6) TTS for all of my x10 events.
7) energy management for all client PC's
8) ability to send and receive commandlines
9) Incorporation with other Tuicemen software with networking

there are so many more it is really hard to focus on just the top reasons.  I use or have used every feature that PCC offers.  I think the only ones I am not using at this time are the floor plan and the pop3 emails (only because moved to gmail)

weather triggers
face graphics
ability to send and receive commandlines
easily incorporated with other home automation software (ihouse)

Since BVC doesn't look like it is being manned anymore I needed something was, hence PCC!  I still have a lot of personal issues to take care of right now and it does't look like it's going to end for some time.  But I still plan on working and fully implementing PCC fully to it's extent when there over.

Tuicemen,

I've been away for awhile. Between the long hours at work, the long honey-do lists (yes plural), the frequent computer crashes and a working HA system, I didn't have the time or need to visit ..... I am so sorry!!!!!! The new stuff is just FANTASTIC!!!!! I love it! A few of my favorite things.... the 100 flags! I can AI just about anything. The in -out button on TAC. Home and away! I love it. I thank you! keep up the good work. 5 star rating. Although the wife will not like the time i will be putting in thinking of new things to do with it..... my bad  (RoFL)
