Ok Tuicemen,

I like the site.  About time we got forums for these widgets we all use.

Here's some wishes:

-Sell the Tuicemen Bundle with all softwares included.  One price does it all.  Great for gifting.

-Bring back some of the old stand-alones.  I know X10SW is bundled with Companion, but it was great by itself.  Also, I still use X10WavPlayer along side of Companion.  I like using both.

that's all for now.

Thanks Knightrider,
OK I'll see about creating a bundle. That was kinda the reason for the PcCompanion plug-in pack ;)
X10Wavplayer I think is still available as a download if not I'll get it posted.
So what your saying is have a separate download for each widget?
Wouldn't that defeat the bundle pack and the Plug-in pack?

The bundle idea would be one price for all softwares.

Maybe we need a thread posting donation levels for each software.

Okay, If users are looking for X10WavPlayer or X10SW they can still be downloaded separately. You have to dig arround a bit but there are still some links that point to the Zip Files. I think the old web pages for each has the link.
I'll look at adding X10WavPlayer to the plug-in pack for the next release.
And maybe pull the batch file creator from each program and make that a separate small program which will make a batch file for any of the programs.
I'll also include it in the Plug-in pack which doesn't need PCC to run.
This way all discusions for the small apps can be posted to the Plug-ins thread.

Doug Hoffman over at hoffmanamps.com has done a lot of VB coding with the dallas one wire serial buss.  Some of his projects can be foud at www.el34world.com.

He uses the temperature and hygrometer nodes on his one wire to run his x10 setup.

Sorry Tuice,

I really like the idea of the serial buss running in various locations with a minimum of wires.  I'm thinking a hot tub temperature sensor, pool temp sensor, and a sensor on the various stages of the hydronic heat system.

I'm kinda using a system like that now, except my velleman sensors won't talk to the computer, only the velleman master controller.

Hey no need to be Sorry!
I Plan to add sensors for my heat system as well but with the Weather station it will talk to the PC and PCC as well as the master display.
Right now I hate having to run out to the outdoor wood stove to check the temp, but that will change shortly.
For the Log home I'll need to watch for wind speed so my windturbine doesn't get damaged by high winds.
It does have a break in it but if I short out the connection it won't burn out its generator.
I realy like my cheep weather station as I can trigger temperature alerts for inside and out  as well as humidity triggers for inside and out.
Although I need a separate piece of software to put the info into a csv file before PCC can access the info the other software displays all the info and will post it to the internet if I wish!
