I went through the steps to change the ip to static.  It was about as though I was using a recipe to make a dish I never heard of.  I am not sure what I did, or why I did it, but by golly, now it works as it did before.  I have no plans to look behind the curtain to find the Wizard.  I am happy now, and will leave well enough alone!
Now, on to the Harmony hub!  Thanks again for all the help.

Glad to hear your happy once more.
There are a few tweaks to any setup which can be helpful.
Manually entering settings is always best however some are intimidated by it.
Auto detection and assigning settings isn't always fool proof as all routers and PCs behave differently.

Could not get Alexa to discover devices until reading about going into the HA bridge - Bridge Control, and changing the UPNP IP Address from "localhost" to my PCs IP address - saved.
This is a hugely important procedure!
Suddenly Alexa doesn't hate Alex!!!
(BTW Windows Firewall, Anti-Virus Software, Router Firewall are all "On" and there's no issue.)

I believe the code was changed for changing the IP from out side the bridge with the security option code. Alex10 seemed to change it with prior bridge versions or at least the localhost option worked.  ??? ::) :`)
Glad to see you figured it out and are up and running!
