SecurityInformer Plug-in
« on: March 10, 2011, 07:23:29 am »

This plug-in is a simple batch file creator which is used with AHP and PCC.
You create a file for each security device you have configured in AHP.
If you want to monitor both tripps(on) and resets(off) signals of the device then you make 2.
You can create a macro so when AHP sees the security device tripped or reset it starts the bachfile.
PCC sees this as a security sensor and if you have the sensor configured in the floor plan it will display as tripped.

With X10 so slow to fix some issues I was wondering if users felt I should add the "M1 SOCIALITE" commands?
These are sent from some security sensors however sometimes a battery change will cause the sensor to stop sending these (at least in my tests).
Also not all sensors send this info so it can't be said it will work for everyone.
It would allow one to monitor and trigger events for sensors that sent this info.
If enought users are interested in this I'll add it to this plugin.

T,

I'd vote to go for it.  I would like to be able to incorporate the security sensors without AHP the security sensors are the only thing that I still use AHP for everything else is not Ihouse, PCC and the rest of your software

Just my thoughts

I don't like developing for something that is considered by the manufacture to be a bug.
However uses for this may prove to be worth the effort. ??? ::) :`)
Since this bug has been present in the SDK for over 2 years now and X10 has lost all the programers that originaly worked on this it is worth giving it a second thought.

I've added security sensors to PCC (main program) with version 4.0.5.8
Doing so may make this plugin obsolete.
However I'll keep it in the pack for signals PCC can't detect.

I decided to give this a bit of a long overdue refresh.
PCC has code added to it now for security sensors however there still are sensors which difficult to install.
Also PCC can't see these in the floor plan screen without this.
I'm going to rework the Floorplan code in version 4.0.5.9 however I've decided to still make SecurityInformer usefull by enabling it to give the seen sensors X10 Addresses without a batch file trigger required.

With the 2016 build there are 2 additional house codes added enableing up to 48 sensors to be seen in the PCC floor plan.
