X10SW
« on: March 10, 2011, 07:14:39 am »

Originaly not a plug-in it was designed from user requests to somehow trigger events with the alarm trip from a x10 security console.
It basicaly watches for activity on the house code the Security console is set to.
When it sees the alllightson  allunitsoff signals in a number of repeats it fires off another X10 Code on a different address.
As well it can start another program from that alarm trip.
It all so doubles as a activity monitor.

I don't make it easy to find as this is part of the plug-in pack for PCC.
However you might look here  http://www.angelfire.com/in2/ontkoi/X10AHP/index.html if you need it for the DS7000
As the link is still posted on the old site.
If your looking for the latest build which includes support for the SC1200 you'll need to view the beta test thread in the members only section.

With the new Security console back in stock with X10 some maybe wishing for this to work with it.
It does!
However you need PCC and the plug-in pack.
The link posted above only links to an old version that doesn't see SC1200 signals.

There has been some renewed interest in flood Protection on the X10forum.
X10dispatcher had code in it to detect a continued button press of a remote which would in some cases prevent the security consoles from seeing a ligit security signal.
I'll look into adding code to this simular to what X10dispatcher had for the next Plugin update.
As well possibly adding code to detect door/window sensor sends.
However this isn't 100% reliable as some sensors send this and others don't as well a battery change may result it it from stop sending a seeable signal.

Since adding the flood detection to X10SW I've not received any feed back.
I've yet to add support for door/window sensor.

Hey T,

I don't run X10sw very much but the flood protection works great  ~:0~  sorry I must have missed that one  :`)  The addition of door and window sensors would be an awesome add on. I have alot of them installed, but stopped using them because I dont run AHP any more and I house doesnt support them.  I am really looking forward to their addition to your software  :0~
